Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I was so impressed with Pet's Best and their claims payment service that tells you if they'll pay your claim BEFORE you even file it. So, if you're worried about getting payment on your claim you can call their customer service which is always very helpful, and they will tell you your claim will be paid,. Brilliant! Perfect for my pup and his high dollar TPLO srugery. These guys are worth your research. One of the better ones out there and not so well known. Picked them over Healthy Paws and Pet's Plan.

I have had my dog for 6 years. Aside from 2 emergency situations shortly after we got her. The only claims we had were her annual physical, shots, and teeth cleaning. This time we had a big claim, and I was concerned about how it was handled. The claim was handled professionally, and evrything I thought would be covered was. Thank you!

I'd recommend Pets Best because the people I've talked to there when I've had questions have been so kind, but this is my first go around with pet insurance and I don't think the terms and conditions were spelled out well enough for me. At first I thought it was a total 80% coverage of any bill, and then I read more and understood it to be that it would be up to $2500 per claim, but now have been told that it's just $2500 for the year for the same diagnosis. I wish I had had the foresight to have switched over to the middle plan when I had the time but I didn't as it was twice as much as the basic level. But maybe it's worth it in the end to have basic for young animals and as soon as they're a certain age, to move them up just so there aren't any bad surprises.

When our little Smootch needed TPLO surgery, pets best was there to pay his enourmous medical bill. A lot of other insurers we looked at will deny ACL claims or charge extra for that coverage but not these guys. This insurance has paid for itself many times over. Don't wait to insure your little fur babies until it's too late! :)

They made the whole claims proccess very simple and always proccess claims in a timely manner. If it weren't for pet insurance this year we could not have paid our bills!
