Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I contacted Pet's Best for two separate questions this week, both were answered within 2 hours. As result, a friend has contacted Pets Best regarding coverage for her Havanese after I recommended it to her. These guys have the Best customer service.

So glad I had insurance for my big boy Casey, when he was diagnosed with diabetes last August the bills would of been outrages! Insurance has covered all of his needs, including the insulin & syringes... Thank You again Petsbest!!!

I have had pet insurance on my dog Lizzie for 4 1/2 years and never had to use it. About a month ago, Lizzie had an episode of a urinary tract infection which we took her to our vet and just 2 short days later, she ate an avacado, pit and all which required a trip to the late night emergency vet hospital. I was very unsure of how to submit my receipts for claim reimbursement, but after speaking to a representative over the phone, she walked my through the steps. It was super easy and within about 7-8 days, we got 2 checks in the mail, one for each vet bill. I only wish my own health insurance was so fast. So far I am very please with the way they do business. I received e-mails regarding my claims, and they kept me abreast of when to expect payment. Can't say enough good things about this company.

I am so thankful I have Pet's Best Insurance for both my dogs.I own two rescued Basset Hounds. They were "supposed to be" healthy when I adopted them. They are healthy now. Of course, there are always unexpected illnesses. Because Pet's Best has helped me with my dog's illnesses over the years, I'm able to help "my girls" live in health & happiness. My dog was diagnosed with a disease. Eight months later when it was time to renew the policy....Pets Best more than doubled the yearly amount. When I called about the increase, I was told it was because they changed underwriters. When I received the renewal notice this year....IT INCREASED BY ANOTHER $600. This time I was told it was because of her age and breed. I realize that policies need to increase.....but not by $1200 in two years. This company takes advantage of pet owners with sick pets. I am sure they will triple next year. I wish I would have known about Trupanion when I bought insurance for my pet.
