Last year they paid a $2,500 IVDD claim. Never be without pet insurance. And never be without Pet's Best.

Pet's Best seems to pay about 40-50% of the vet bills, much higher than other companies I'm aware of. I signed up my Rhodesian Ridgeback when he was about two or three, and the premium has only moved up slightly in eight years, and is now about $200 a year. Some years we've only done his $100 annual exam, but it has really paid off during the years when there's an incident. Over the last eighteen months, my dog had several mishaps: a bad spider bite and a hygroma following, a trip on the stairs, and he needed some age-related joint care. Pet's Best has paid over $3000 of the bills, nearly half, so it's really paid off. This isn't one of those insurance companies that punish you for using your insurance. My vet keeps my signature on file and files all the claims; the check usually arrives in about a week. In my opinion, this is the best pet insurance out there.
