Excellent company

Our 15 year old Australian Terrier, Mattie, is very healthy, just old, so I was thrilled to be able to get her health insurance at all and for a low rate to boot. Since being covered she has had a bad ear infection and (what turned out to be) benign growths removed -- the claims were processed within two weeks and paid as promised. I recommend Pets Best Insurance to every pet owner I meet! Thank you, Pets Best!

Pet's Best is Best

Pet's Best Insurance really has come through for us. I had a gut feeling to sign up for Pet Insurance for our 6 yr. old dog Maisy. 5 weeks later she was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor. We quickly got her in for surgery, and now she is doing great. It was a very aggressive type.We paid our deductable and Pet's Best paid the rest , with no hassle at all. Pets Best is the BEST

Our English Bull Dog puppy had a huge red lump protruding from her right eye. The Vet said she had cherry eye and surgery would be required. The estimate was near 1,200. Fortunately, our Vet had advised us to purchase Pet Insurance because of the breed of our puppy. I submitted our claim along with our receipt and I had a check within 2 weeks. Buying Pets Best Inusrance was the best purchase we ever made.

Teeth cleaning under the wellness plan

My 10 yr old German Shepherd, Abby, was taken in to have her teeth cleaned. I have the wellness package which would pay a flat re-imbursement of a $100 towards the bill. During the cleaning it was discovered that she had a cracked molar and it was removed. When I received the re-imbursement check they didn't pay the $100 because they said it was no longer under the wellness plan but under surgery where my $500 deductable applied. When I called them they said yes that's right and they would not pay any more. Other than this I have had good service but now I will always wonder what they'll get out paying next.

I am so happy with Pets Best!!!!!

I just want to say that I am so happy with Pets Best Insurance. My Chikita is like my daughter and she had been going through my health issues and it was such a relief to have Pets Best, it took a lot of pressure off my worries. Pets Best came through with everything that they said they would. My claims were recieved right away and processed. I do recommend Pets Best Insurance to all my friends. If anyone is looking for Pet Insurance you can stop here. Pets Best is the Best. I am so happy and satisfied with this company. Thank you Pets Best for being there and keeping your word.......

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
