Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I hesitated to purchase insurance thinking a young dog wouldn't have many health issues. I decided to purchase accident only coverage. Less than 7 months after rescuing our newest addition, she was at the Emergency Vet for surgery to remove an ingested foreign body. After the deductible, we were reimbursed for the entire claim. I'm very happy with how quickly my claims were processed. I will most likely be upgrading to a full accident and illness policy.

When we rescued our dog we soon found out she was very active and would get into everything. We bought the insurance in the event something happened it might cover some of the vet bills. There we were a little more than a year later and rushing to the vet and a $512 bill. After the deductable and items that were not covered we were reimbursed for $315. The items not covered were not related to the urgent care visit, rather items we had the vet do while we were there. The claim was easy, and we received our check in a short amount of time (less than two weeks - not sure of the actual time as we were on vacation when it arrived). Our girl is fine and as active as ever.

Pippa had a Urinary tract infection which made for many uncomfortable and expensive trips to the vets. Pet's Best was professional and prompt in all correspondence and payment. Thanks so much and Pippa thanks you too!!! LK

I have always been wary of pet insurance. However, I chose Pets Best as I have 4 cats and I like to keep them healthy. I had a serious illness with my oldest cat (who passed away). I filed a claim with Pets Best. They responded quickly and paid the claim. They even called me to express their condolences. Their rates are very fair. I would recommend them to anyone.

We were prepared to wait for a large claim and before I realized it was completed and the payment was received. We are very happy with PetsBest and will continue to be customers
