Inadequate

For submitting almost a $1000 bill, I received less about $150, with an asterisk saying the other items were not "itemized" but there was no mention of how to do it. All I know is, I made a copy of the Vet's bill and filled out a claim form and submitted both. If you want more satisfied customers who pay $500/year for a dog's health insurance, you will need to provide better insight as to the claims process

Pets Best is great!

Pets Best hasn't let me down. They have covered every claim for Pearl. There policies are what they say they are. I get reimbursed quicker than 5 days most part. This is the best insurance and you don't want to miss out.

Claim Process

If you have insurance with any other company.....STOP. Pet Best is by far, the best. If you want speedy claims processing: Pet Best. If you want quick reimbursement: Pet Best. If you want 90% coverage: Pet Best. We will use no other provider for our two Papillons.

Awesome pet insurance

Fast reimbursement and great policy. Well worth it. I have both my dogs on plans with this company and recommend it greatly.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
