Better than expected

Pets Best is awesome. This is the first time I have had to file a claim on my dog and I must say that I was very doubtful that Pets Best would be as good as their website indicated. I am very happy with the reimbursement.

Pleasantly surprised!

I switched from another pet insurance company due to poor customer service and lack of caring. I am so happy that I chose this company, the live chat is awesome and the constant communication is very reassuring. Fast claim response time too!

I LOVE Pets Best

I have been a loyal customer of Pets Best for over 6 years and have sent many people their way to sign up. Although some of the plans have raised in price I so far have still been happy with their coverage and quick responses to paying my bills. Thank you Pets Best

Would I recommend??????

The insurance is too expensive monthly. It starts out reasonable but as your dog ages the increase is substantial.But at this point you can't quit. They got you. $100.00 a month and I'm sure it will increase. and I have the middle amount on insurance. My dog is 11 but they increased it at age 8. They pay 80% of not everything. Probably would have done better to open a bank account for my dog.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
