Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

Great insurance, but they rope you in...Once you are a long time customer and they know you now have "pre existing conditions" they raise your rates so that the policy is unaffordable to maintain!! I just received a annual rate increase for my 7 year old Boston Terrier from $58.76 per month to $84.90 per month...WHAT???? That is more than 40% increase!!! More than human insurance increases!!! I am better off depositing the $60 per month in a separate account for future medical expenses...Buyer Beware!! Not very honorable business if you ask me!! Be prepared for huge rate increases each year until you just can't afford this insurance anymore!!

Pets Best is great insurance. I have used them for 3 1/2 yrs on my English Bull Terriers. Their customer service is good. Filing claims is easy and my reimbursement by direct deposit into my checking account is quick. Thanks

Every claim I have submitted has been reviewed and paid expeditiously. Having an English Bulldog, I felt insurance was warranted and needed. They provide different policy options and based on the one I chose, all was reimbursed in accordance with my plan and without incident. All too often, one feels that one can be "insurance poor" and I gambled on my intuition to put Murphy on a policy and I have no regrets. Without Pets Best my credit card would have a much higher balance and Murphy was able to recoup his higher quality of life with less pain and suffering. Thank you Pets Best, for being there.

Unfortunately the older my dog got they automatically bumped up the price, started including copayments, so that it just has become not worth it for me to pay the monthly bills. I am happy with their customer service, but not with the actual coverage.

I was a bit skeptic at first when I signed up for pet insurance. I didn't think I would use it or need it, man was I wrong! My Italian Greyhound Gutty got sick one day, bloody diarrhea, vomit I though he wasn't going to make it. I took him to the vet, he suggested a few test, shots, IV etc etc I placed all my trust in my Vet and in Pets Best. My budget is a little tight and really hoped Pets Best would deliver as promised and they did! they covered 90 percent of a $700 bill in a few days! It's easy to submit a claim and I'm reimbursed via direct deposit.Low deductible and low monthly payment.
