Pets Best is the best!

My dog has severe allergies and has been prescribed Apoquell to help manage them. Pets Best covers 80% of the cost of his meds after the deductible has been met. I usually receive my money within days of submitting the claim.

Amazingly Easy Claims Process

We have been with pets best for over 8 years. We have used them many times for vet bills. Be it illness, accident/injury they have always been fast and fair with claims. Can't say enough how much we love this company!

Claims based on assumptions

Claims should not be based strictly on assumptions or approximation of time even after doctor back-up and accurate medical explanation as to why the assumption is not accurate. No proof only circumstantial

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
