Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I have two wonderful Havanese dogs with oxalate crystals. Pets Best staff have guided me in how to structure the best insurance plan given the chronicity of the dogs' conditions. Claims have been reviewed and managed in a timely fashion with payments deposited in my bank account electronically. Staff have been not only knowledgeable but also very caring. As a retired individual, I appreciate the respect they have always shown me when I call.

I made a claim for a TPLO surgery on my Neapolitan Mastif, Atticus, which I knew should be covered. However, I was not completely relieved until I knew the claim was approved and payment was made. The claim was processed extremely timely as advertised and payment made the same. I couldn't be more relieved or satisfied. Thanks Pets Best; truly the best!

I have 2 dogs and a cat, my son has 2 Dogs. All are insured by Pets Best. Years ago I had a very prominent vet surgeon recommend Pets Best, he told me its the only insurance company that truly gives good coverage for pets. My dog ( and best friend), Grisham has had various medical issues and having this insurance has saved his life. For this, I am eternally grateful to your company. I decided to try Pets Best for my new puppy after my vet recommended them to me. 3 days after I signed up my puppy broke his arm! I was so stressed out because I knew it was going to cost me a lot of money. When I called Pets Best they reassured me that everything was going to be ok and that I had gotten a really great plan that became effective that same day for accidental. I felt like I was talking to the vet after hearing how concerned the woman sounded. I did not feel like I was talking to an insurance company. The vet did indeed recommend surgery. I set it for the next day and submitted a pre authorization paperwork to PetsBest. Within an HOUR they had a response for me and had approved reimbursement for the surgery. A couple days later I submitted the claim with the final bill and they deposited the money into my account within a few days. They also followed up with me over the phone to make sure I understood everything that was happening. Great customer service and so easy to use the web portal. So happy!
