Disappointed

Unfortunately, the "illness" for my Yorkie had a limitation on the amount paid on a claim. I was disappointed that PetsBest did not notify me to upgrade my plan to receive more benefit payment for the ongoing illness for my girl, Gigi.

Denial of claims on Rusty's ear allergy.

Rusty has an ear allergy.He has reached the limit on ear surgery.Dr. Moss thought that that the insurance would pay for the costly pills($200 for 100 pills.He has received 400 pills so far at a total cost of $400 plus exams.)I can't afford the cost of another surgery.Can you reconsider the claim?Or is there an upgrade in insurance that would help? No regrets!

Our puppy had, unknown to us, a deformed rear leg hip bone at the head of the bone. Thank the heavens we had Pet's Best insurance! Pet's Best covered everything, minus our deductible, for several thousand dollars of surgery and subsequent follow-up care. You won't regret your small monthly expense when your pet needs major surgery.

Saved a Life!

I have a 14 year old girl who is extremely important to me. She had liver cancer and failing kidneys. Because I had Pets Best Insurance I was confident enough financially to okay surgery. Her life has been saved and I am equally grateful to my Veterinarian, Cheryl Chong, and to Pets Best!!! I have switched my other rescued dog, Bella, to Pets Best too! Thank you for saving a life!!!

Very fast in doing claims

At this tough time was happy on how fast the claim was processed . Lucy doesn't have long but trying to enjoy what time she has left. I'm glad I did chose to get insurance . Unfortunelly Lucy has had many surgeries .,

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
