covers very little on preventative
Pets Best Insurance only covers $25 a year on flea/tick/heartworm meds. Twenty five dollars will not cover one month of any of those meds so then if your pet gets heartworms (something that should and could be prevented) you will not cover the treatment. I already been through this cause my dog come down with Ehrlichiosis (a tick borne virus) and you wouldn't cover the treatment for his recovery when I am paying you to help cover flea/tick repellent to keep from this happening and you do not. I pay dearly for pet insurance and I can't see where I am saving very much on preventative measures. I can put that money aside each month in my safe and use it towards my pets health needs and come out better off.
