Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

Will never have another pet without insurance. My Mosie developed a blood clot, had to be put in intensive care shortly after purchasing the insurance. He ended up dying. They paid for everything including the cremation. My Kali has a problem with her eyes and the drops are very expensive. She will be 18 soon and has had problems that come with aging. They have paid for everything, and make having a senior dog so much easier. One of the best things that I have ever done. They're wonderful!!!!

This is my first time having pet insurance for a pet. I filed a claim for a my dog, who required a needle aspiration on a mass. Easy filing of the claim online from home and received a response, with a clear explanation and payment within 1 week. I'm so glad my family chose to have pet insurance.

I've had Pets' Best for about four years, and among other miscellaneous claims have had to cruciate ligament claims. Both were honored per the disclosure, direct-deposit payments were fast, and claims were easy (and got even easier with the second injury, via simple on-line form submittable). I have not had pet insurance with another company, so I can't offer a first-hand comparison, but I also haven't wanted to go to another insurer. For what it's worth, a coworker had originally recommended Pets' Best to me, based on his good experiences. My dog has been covered by Pets Best since I got her as a puppy.The monthly price has increased 100%. + in 7 years. I'm paying for wellness and vet care and they keep changing the deductible and what they cover. Although I pay for wellness they deny coverage for parasites! No heart worm coverage, no giardia coverage , no flea coverage! Dogs die from heart worm disease yet they won't cover it? My dog has had very few claims and yet they charge over 125/mo for my dog! I wonder where to turn?!
