I’ve never used pet insurance before

I’ve never used pet insurance before. I was unsure which company would be reliable. Pets Best was recommended to me by a trusted coworker. I couldn’t be more pleased! The claims are very easy to place and my reimbursements are automatically deposited into my bank account. They cover exactly what they say they cover. No tricks! The website is very easy to use, and you can always call if you need some individual help. Thank you PetsBest!

Scam Pets Best really isn’t

Backtrack a couple years. My dog got a hematoma surgery. Then Applied Pets best got denied for this claim cause the incident happened before. Ok understood I get it. Fast track today he went in cause his ear had yeast and has bad allergies. We got denied again because the issue was from before? How so? I was paying for 2 years and this was developing months ago. They’ll find any excuse to deny you. Going to appeal but likely be cancelling today.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
