Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

Before signing my dog up with Pets Best I did exhaustive research speaking with my vet and my homeopathic vet- both said Pets Best was the best. Then I compared other plans and the two top runners were Trupanion and Pets Best. I did an exhaustive line by line comparison with Trupanion and hands down Pets Best has the very best to offer. First, there is an annual deductible and then they pay 90%. Period! Trupanion has a deductible for EACH ISSUE!! That is a rip off. Anyway, Pets Best has been there for me through three dogs, they held my hand with my last dog that had an illness that eventually lead to his passing. Even then, Pets Best was there for me and covered the euthanasia and cremation. I cannot say enough about Pets Best. Stop searching- you've found the best...Pets Best.

Submitted a claim on Nov 29th and received an Explanation of Benefits on Dec. 2nd. That is an excellent turn-around time for any insurance company. Process to submit claims is so quick and simple.

I have had insurance for 2 years and this time the processing time was one week. Already happened to take a one month, it was a good improvement.

I've never been physically assaulted, but that's what it feels like when Pets Best bumps our premium by 45% in one year -- for no reason other than enriching the C-suite. May Elizabeth Warren style regulation / consumer protection return to us soon.

Pets Best has given me time with my pets while they are sick and that is just priceless. How can anyone afford to take time off of work to care for a sick baby while paying expensive vet bills? Most people can’t. Pets Best allows me to focus on my babies and to care for them with the best of my ability including being there for them when they need me the most. God Bless this wonderful company for helping pet owners be able to help their babies without financial stress added to an already stressful situation an illness with our babies can put on them and us.
