Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

Your recent price increase is outrageous. It is 50% more than last year. It was $560.00 and now it's $280.00 more. The new year premium total is now $840.00. I understand cost have gone up but I no longer what this insurance as it is no longer affordable. 😪 Pets Best also says you can Change your Policy online but you can't you need to talk to someone so they can try to sell you different coverage. Also be aware that they do an Auto renew and will not let you opt out online, yet they say you can "Change your Policy" online. Then when you call to cancel the policy they prorate it from the policy start date even if no services have been used since. I would have kept my policy if the renewal was not 50% of last years premium. Poor business if you ask me. Jake

This time it took over 1 month to process and eventually pay a portion of my claim. Some claims have been denied in the past due to pre-existing conditions or meeting max benefit payment. How can a 10 week old puppy who was rescued from a shelter and thus a puppy mill, be denied. He was a sick boy when I rescued him. Why have insurance, especially for the price I am paying. They should cover more for a rescued puppy.

My first claim was approved fast but had to wait for the money to go into my bank account for days. My second claim is still being processed after a week ? No update

I’ve never used pet insurance before. I was unsure which company would be reliable. Pets Best was recommended to me by a trusted coworker. I couldn’t be more pleased! The claims are very easy to place and my reimbursements are automatically deposited into my bank account. They cover exactly what they say they cover. No tricks! Backtrack a couple years. My dog got a hematoma surgery. Then Applied Pets best got denied for this claim cause the incident happened before. Ok understood I get it. Fast track today he went in cause his ear had yeast and has bad allergies. We got denied again because the issue was from before? How so? I was paying for 2 years and this was developing months ago. They’ll find any excuse to deny you. Going to appeal but likely be cancelling today.
