Claims continously denied
Pretty much seems like everything I submit is denied. Very frustrating when I'm spending $1200 a year.

Rip off!
Seems PetsBest will do everything they can, including over-riding vet documentation, NOT to pay on a claim.

Pets best? More like pets waste of time!
I got my insurance last year when I got my puppy thinking it was going to be looking out for her and have her set up for anything that was to come our way.
First time making a claim I was denied (okay cool) but I was given a "see benefits" instead a reason? You can't give me a short reason?
I file a claim and it takes months, with only a single email here and there saying "sorry for the inconvenience" you can't communicate what's taking so long? High volume/high claimes/the weather etc something other than sorry?
I've made 4 different claims and I have yet to see a check that was made out to me.
There is zero incentive for being a member.
You just pay 65 bucks for the "best" insurance and it's a complete waste of my money,time and efforts.
Good luck trying to speak to a human you'll be on the phone forever and thet will just tell you to "see your benefits" than have it explained to you.
Look I get it I can see my benefits but I would like it explained further by someone who is knowledgeable in the insurance industry but I just have to figure it out on my own.

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
