Fast, efficient service that is very easy to understand
The online claims process is very easy to follow and quick to fill in. Pets Best send emails to keep you updated on the progress of your claim (which doesn't usually take more than a few days for them to complete). When I have had bills from multiple vets for the same illness I have only ever had to submit one claim with all the bills attached, Pets Best do all the work splitting into multiple claims - which is great because it can get confusing and I am worried I will miss something if I try to split out the paperwork myself!

So easy I didn't believe it
Pets Best has been one of the easiest insurances I have ever used. I work for a human health insurance company, so I figured when my dog had a cancerous tumor, I was going to have to spend hours gathering medical records and appealing decisions to get any payout.
Color me surprised when I submitted my claim just by describing in three sentences why she had services, and a week later having the money in my account!
I cannot say enough good things about how easy and quick everything was.
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
