Never had issues with claims.

Dealing with our dog's sickness the past year & eventual death was difficult but we never had any issues with our claims. Everything was easy, straightforward & responsive & we appreciate the ease with which the policy was cancelled after Atticus died. Thank you so much. We will definitely use Pets Best again in the future if we get another pet. Thank you.

I was skeptical about the pet insurance…

I was skeptical about the pet insurance concept and after reviewing coverage from many pet insurance companies I found Pets Best was the best option for me. The Wellness Coverage for the last six months of having my puppy has already saved me $178! I was also concerned she might eat something she was not supposed to so this insurance really gave me some peace of mind if I had to take her in for surgery.

Completely Satisfied - Well Worth the Cost

We have been Pets Best customers for years. The representatives on the phone are compassionate and are quick to help resolve any issues. Claims are very easy to submit online and you can track claim status via their website.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
