Claims processed in timely manner.

We have many positive claims stories with Bella. She has hypothyroidism, had vulvaplasty surgery, and, most recently, FHO surgery for severe hip dysplasia with arthritis and bone fragments. Every one of our claims were processed in a timely manner, & when I had questions, the staff were pleasant, professional, and extremely helpful.

I have excellent pet insurance.

My beloved cat Ozzie is going through a myriad of gastrointestinal problems. I have an excellent vet and fortunately excellent pet insurance in Pets Best to see me through this tough time in his life!

All my experiences have been great!

I have 4 rescued dogs. They all have health challenges so we are at the Vet quite frequently. Peppermint Patty and Peanut have been the most active. Schroeder has had quite a few claims too. All of my invoices are submitted to you immediately - along with a claim form. I learned a few years ago not to hold on to them for six months before submitting to you. Too many. Your turn around time is very impressive!! Thank you for that!! All of my experiences have been GREAT!!!! :)

Couldn't be happier with the claims process.

Katie Sprinkles was spayed and chipped in July 2018. I just logged into my Pets Best account, answered a question regarding the reason for her visit to the vet, snapped a picture of the bill and clicked the Submit button. I immediately got an email Confirmation my claim was received. Within 5 days I got an email with my Explanation of Benefits and the money was in my account. I set up electronic transfer for all my claims (when I first got the policy). This was my fourth experience with a Pets Best claim and I couldn't be happier!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
