I was nervous getting pet insurance..

I was nervous getting pet insurance. My sister, who is a veterinarian, told me it is a must though when we got our puppy. I took her to the vet this morning for her first puppy checkup and first round of shots etc. I took a picture of my receipt and uploaded it, and within about 4 hours it had been reviewed and accepted and I was fully reimbursed for what I spent at the wellness visit. I cannot praise this company enough!! I would recommend them to anyone and it was so extremely hassle free and painless. I sincerely appreciate the honesty and integrity of this company so much and have already told everyone I work with about it!!

Easy and fast claim for our pup.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
