Grateful to Pets Best and their claims department.
We were so grateful for all the help Pets Best provided us as we filed our first claims. While our claim was denied due to a pre-existing issue, we were unsure if the diagnosis given previously would be the same issue. The agents were SO THOROUGH and we were so happy they did everything possible to review the claim before reaching a decision. It was so helpful!

Don't buy this online and check to see you get what you pay for
I went online and purchased two policies - one for EACH of my cats, or so I thought. When I logged in to check on the account, upload photos of my cats, etc. I found I only had ONE policy for one cat. They took payment for TWO cats, but only sent me one policy. They're not available on the weekends.
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date.
