I have been three years with Pets Best…

I have been three years with Pets Best for my two little chihuahuas and I have the emergency plan. I have been comfortable with the easy and fast process and I have always paid back for their surgery, two times for my oldest and one with my youngest. I remember the very first time it was not proceeding but I went for the appeal option and they investigate again and it went through. For me it has been a good experience to have them as my dogs insurance because is so easy and they always comply on time. Thank you for having our back Pets Best!

Hassle-free

As always the process was hassle free and payment was fast. I completely understood the explanation of benefits and everything was in order. I refer you to all my friends with pets because I truly love your service however I was told MD law does not allow me to receive any credit, points etc. for referrals. If this has changed please let me know.

Great coverage for a great monthly premium

I have a 3 year old German Shepherd was just looking for insurance to cover possible problems that may arise as he becomes older this policy had not only that type of coverage but Wellness coverage which is a great help with just yearly vaccines heartworm preventative and any other Wellness benefit that may come along for a great monthly premium.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
