Pets Best is the BEST!

Pets Best is the BEST! My puppy, Baxter is a year old Bernese Mountain Dog who has had a lot of complications. He is really struggling with upper respiratory issues. So we are at the vets every other month :( Thanks to Pets Best owning my special needs pup isn't a financial burden.

Would recommend Pets Best to anyone.

My dog ate something around our apartment complex the other day. He was super sick looking and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. He looked like he was dizzy and off balance. I took him to the near by ER Vet. They ended up diagnosing him with Marijuana Intoxication although his toxicity test came back negative. Either way , they gave him the standard treatment for it. The vet kept insisting that he probably ate some weed around the house or something and kept asking if we were sure he didn't get like a joint and eat it . We don't smoke ! I was pretty upset about that. I was worried that Pets' Best would deny the claim thinking that we got our dog high . All in all it was a smooth and easy process getting my claim handled and whatever question I had they answered in a timely manner. Would recommend this to anyone with any kind of pet.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
