First Claim DENIED
My very first claim DENIED. My baby 3-month old kitten was taken to the vet for a routine exam and we mentioned he'd had a cough; nothing was done; vet said it would probably resolve itself. A year later he developed a long term cough (several days/couple weeks) and we took him to the vet. Yes, he has probable allergies; vet did tests and treated with a steroid. I filed the claim and Pet's Best called it "existing." So, I guess for the rest of this cat's life they will never pay a dime for anything related to a "cough." Ridiculous. How can that be pre-existing? It was a baby cough not requiring treatment of any kind and yet, one-year later they call it pre-existing? I think we'll take our business elsewhere.
