Glad it was processed quickly

It was our Loki's first dental cleaning. It was scary having him go under anesthesia but he did great. We're glad that Pets Best processed the claim so quickly while we focused on Loki.

Decisions are easier with Pets Best

Our cat Charlie had to be seen by several specialists over a few emergency vet appointments to diagnose an infectious disease. It was not an easy diagnoses therefore Charlie needed a blood transfusion to stabilize him while we determined the cause for his decline. After a week of tests we determine the illness and the appropriate treatment. Luckily he needs a few rounds of meds and will be back to his normal happy self. Despite the large bills our decision to treat was made that much easier knowing we would receive a large portion of our cost back via Pets Best. Thank you for your quick responses!

Very pleased

Overall, I have been very pleased with Pets Best claims process. It is very easy to file, very quick at processing, helpful in answering questions when calling in, always nice and making sure understand process .

I have been extremely happy with pets best and recommend it to anybody who asks me about pet insurance. My experience has been amazing as I have a couple of puppies that I did not expect to have the health issues with that they have had and pets best has been extremely wonderful

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
