Affordable and Fast Turnaround on Claims

I submitted a claim for my little girls first visit and the turn around time for them to process it was very quick. All you do is scan in the receipt and upload. So easy!!! Not to mention the visit cost me next to nothing which I am grateful for because vet visits can get costly. As people we have insurance to help with the cost and I think this is so great that they have insurance for animals now too. Pest Best is affordable and I will get my moneys worth just in well visits alone. I hope I never have to use it outside of that but it is comforting knowing I have it should something awful occur.

Disappointed

Didn’t realize there were so many loopholes in our policy. Our sweet dog was attacked and by the time you took out the deductible AND co-pay we received 1/5 the bill reimbursed. To say nothing of the health care that was NOT wellness but due to the bite that was not considered. Wondering why we signed up for insurance. Very disappointed.

The claims process was very easy

The claims process was very easy. Prompt payment and direct deposit is wonderful. I feel the non-payment of certain items on a bill should be explained more clearly.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
