Easy Claim Process and Great Representative Service
I’ve had this insurance plan for several years until I had to use it. I initially dreaded what I thought would be a long and time consuming process. However, I called them to inquire about the process and was told that there are a few ways to submit a claim ( I opted for submitting through the portal). The representative was very nice and explained everything. I then requested the notes and invoices from my vet and uploaddd to the portal with a short description. About a week later I was advised of the reimbursement amount - no hassles, no going back and forth, just simple ! I have friends whose pet’s plans make them jump through hoops for similar issues , so am soooooo happy this wasn’t the case !

Impressed with quick response.
I was very impressed with the quick response, and also how my claim reimbursement check was sent so quickly. I have told my friends who have pets to go with you!
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
