Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I have always had excellent service with Pets Best Insurance and would recommend them to anyone with a pet. The most recent claim was for emergency treatment of a scorpion sting on 12/6/18, Very painful for Jackie and worrying for me. However she was treated and recovered. my claim was dealt with promptly and fairly.

I lost my boy Joey in May, after a VERY expensive battle with mitral valve disease. In August I adopted Evie from Mexico. I insured her with Pets Best the day I brought her home, even though she is only one year old, because I did not want money to be a barrier if she were to get sick, either now, or in the future. In October she started to have GI issues. I didn't have to worry about the cost when she had to be hospitalized or have tests run. Ultimately she had to have emergency surgery, and Pets Best covered 90% of the cost. I am so thankful that she had insurance.

I think this insurance is great..except for high monthly premiums. My claims are processed quickly and I feel reassured knowing I have this coverage for my babies.

It's nice to know that Pets Best is very responsive and helpful in filing claims.

I've had insurance with Pets Best for the last 11 years. While I've had a few claims over the years, it wasn't until last year when I fully recognized and appreciated how wonderful Pets Best is to work with! My 10 year Golden Doodle, Dempsey, had major surgery to remove cancer from his hip and had some subsequent issues during the recovery. The claims were highly involved and somewhat complicated. Each time I had questions or needed assistance with follow up the person on the other line was patient and showed compassion during a very stressful time. They truly understand that for most of us, our animals are our children and feeling their compassion made a very difficult situation easier to navigate. Most recently, Dempsey began to cough suddenly and it only progressed to the point I ended up taking him to the emergency vet at 4:00am. X-rays and tests determined he had sever pneumonia. After spending the night at the emergency vet on fluids, he was able to return home to recover. Within days of submitting the latest claim I received notice that it was processed. I can't recommend Pets Best enough and am eager to recommend them every chance I get! The ease of submission, the prompt turn around and the compassionate voice on the other line make for a great experience every time.
