Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

Pets Best has been wonderful. I am glad I chose them to insure my dogs through. The claims process is simple and reimbursement is completely fair. Love it!!! I refer everyone I know to purchase per insurance and always to go through pets best.

Reuben had vomited more than 4 times and in one of them were two rocks. I was worried he had a blockage, so off to the vet we went where he got an X-ray to ensure he was "cleaned out." Thankfully, there were no additional rocks. They gave us anti- nausea meds in addition to a shot to calm his stomach and off we went. I have never had health insurance for my pets before my current two dogs and honestly, it's a relief. Vet Bills get expensive very quickly and my monthly payment is more than worth it. The first year of a dog's life and their end years has always proven to be the most expensive for me-all unexpected costs. Thank you.

The process is easy and quick. Customer service is knowledgeable and explains things so that I understand what is covered. I highly recommend Pets Best. All my claims have been a positive experience.

I have been with Pets Best since 2011, when I adopted Cotton, a former puppy mill resident, who had several litters of mini-Schnauzer pups over 5-6 years. Not knowing how her health would progress, I looked into pet insurance. Cotton was diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus. Later, she was diagnosed with disc issues, eventually resulting in paralysis in her hind legs. In 2014, I also adopted another of my fosters, Precious, a 4 1/2 lb. Chi/Peke, & added her to my pet insurance. As with everything else, the cost of pet insurance has risen. There generally is a discount with two or more pets. Precious current monthly insurance is now $90.58, increased from $72 last year, both having a $100 deductible. Buying insurance is always a gamble - “Will I need it?” I am glad that I purchased pet insurance. Great help when a major issue occurs. Found it’s easier paying monthly rather than having to pay thousands at one time when an unexpected emergency occurs.

It was time for Prince annual shots. Once I received the invoice, I submitted it to Pet's Best and within 2 days was reimbursed. Very easy!!!
