Pets Best claims process is so easy.

Pets Best claims process is so easy. The notifications are timely as well as payment. The explanation of benefits is clear. Without Pets Best, Ace's treatments would be a significant strain on our budget. I have recommended Pets Best to all my rescue friends and potential adopters.

I wanted information on benefits that my dog still had left in the current year since he had a major surgery lately. Got all the information I needed and learned that increase in premium is not affected by filed claims:)

The process is very easy to use

The process is very easy to use, however the extreme increase in premiums is overwhelming. I had to take one of my dogs off due to huge price increase

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
