Fast and easy to submit claims.

Our dog randomly started throwing up blood one morning. We had a new baby in the house and had no idea if the dog had possibly gotten in to something. We took him to the vet. He was in and out of there getting IV fluids and meds for 3 days due to pancreatitis. The claim was incredibly easy to file. I did it from my phone. Payment showed up about 2 weeks after the first vet visit. Couldn't have been any easier. I was really impressed.

Caring and responsible company.

I just feel that this is a caring and responsible company. I didn't have to call recently but when I have, they have been very professional and sincere. Just a great company!

Pets Best did an amazing job.

Pets Best did an amazing job for my dogs routine care claim process. It took just 5 days from the date I submitted the claim to when I saw the money in my bank account. Super fast process and what I loved was that they kept me updated by email the whole time. Not once did I have to reach out to them! They did everything flawlessly.

What a great company.

What a great company. This our 2nd contract on our second standard poodle. After we had to put down our last dog., we received loving cards and phone calls on loosing our Sophie. this isn't about a claim but I am so satisfied with pets best with my previous dog and with mine now that my neighbors are getting another dog after having to put their dog down last year, I recommended your insurance and I think they are going with you.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
