With Pets Best I always received a quick response to a claim as well as a refund.
I had previously signed up with another pet insurance company, but it was very expensive and they payouts were infrequent. When I changed to Pets Best I was surprised to see a quick response and almost always a check. I would highly recommend Pets Best for your pet.

Great Expreience
Great Expreience!
I was surprised that my claim was approved the same day that I submitted it. I am also surprised that it was paid as my policy stated. I have had trouble with previous companies not paying what they said that they would.

Wellness
My dogs first wellness checkup was last Thursday. I made a claim at noon and it was accepted and a check was sent by the end of that day. The check arrived today, Monday. All qualifying charges were paid in full, $169.00 I am delighted. Thank you Pets Best.

Quick accurate payment
I got pet insurance for my puppy several weeks after I got here. I decided to do the Wellness plan as well and it has been great. They are very quick with claim acceptance, clear with reasons why they will or won't pay and I receive my payment in my bank acct within a couple days. Overall a wonderful experience!
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.

$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date.
