I feel better having my dog insured!

I feel better having my dog insured! She is very important to me and if she gets sick or injured,she will get the care she needs even if the cost is high!

I am impressed!

Prior to puppy Maltese, Maddi, I was the proud mamma of two Maltese, Luci and Laci (wonderful dogs)! Laci died in 2017 at the age 13 with cancer (tried radiation but it was too strong for her little body and she passed away 12/28/17). Luci lived to a ripe old age of 18 1/2 years (she had a heart murmur at birth but only had trouble with it in in 2017 having several heart attacks and stokes). I think I spent over $4,000 on both their treatments from December 2017-May 2018. I do not want to know how much I spent on Luci's and Laci's well care (teeth cleaning; heart and flea control; spraying; 1st year shot maintenance; and yearly checkups). So I made myself a promise that when I got a new Maltese puppy I would purchase both emergency and well care insurance on her. So far I am impressed!

Pets Best has been great

Everything has been a + for Pets Best, until a recent disappointment. King suddenly could not move his back legs, so I took him to Sage Emergency and he was immediately seen by a neurologist who did MRI and a spinal tap to rule out cancer. That maxed out any more help we need for his meds to help him walk. Otherwise, Pets Best has been GREAT!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
