Easy to submit a claim and receive payment and although I understand (to a degree) I think the price increase was pretty steep.

I love this insurance because it has a… Wellness Plan easy to file claims

I love this insurance because it has a Wellness Plan along with emergency care and I got to select exactly what I wanted on it what my deductible was going to be. I found it had more than a lot of others that also offer Wellness Plans that were considerably more expensive. Another thing that I like about it is my doctor's office fills out the forms and sends them in for me on me. This company makes it easier to get your claims back or find information out on a previous claim they work with you and a very understanding and caring about your four-legged fur babies

The service with Pets Best has been…

The service with Pets Best has been nothing short of exceptional. The turn-around from submitting a claim to receiving payment/explanation of benefits is quick and if there is any reason a claim can't be processed as is they are great about explaining what additional information they need. Also, the process for submitting claims is quick and easy and not another administrative burden. I highly recommend Pets Best to anyone wanting to find health insurance for their beloved pets.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
