This is the best Insurance Company I have ever worked for! Their customer service genuinely want to help you. They pay their claims. There are no run arounds, no evasive manuvers, no line item non-pays. I personally have recommended, Pets Best to all of my pet owner Friends. Pets Best has come through again for us, quickly processing our claim for the continued coverage of our kitty's IBD. We initially bought the insurance for our 2 kitties because they were slightly accident prone (as kittens) and it just seemed to make sense. As they got older we added coverage, just in case. It has turned out to be one of the best decisions regarding their health that we have made. Earlier this year, out of nowhere, our boy kitty Eskimo starting vomiting regularly. It took 2 vets to figure out he had a non-normal presentation of Inflammatory Bowel Disease and it took major abdominal surgery to fully diagnose. We are still trying to get Eskimo's diet and medication correct for the IBD and each time we have had to head back to the vet to correct this, Pets Best has quickly and efficiently processed our claim. We recommend Pets Best to every pet owner we know!

My claim was rejected after sending paperwork three times. Customer care was rude.

Recently I filed my first claim with Pets Best and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was and how promptly my claim was handled. I discovered a small lump on my dog's chest and her vet thought it best to remove it and check it out. It was too small to aspirate but he didn't want to wait and let it grow in case it was malignant. So she had the surgery (is doing fine, tumor wasn't malignant) and a few days later I filed the claim. Very easy to do. About a week later I received notice that it was processed and a few days later a check arrived in the mail. They paid exactly what I expected. Especially right before the holidays wasn't a good time to incur a hefty vet bill. But I didn't want to risk my dog's health. It made a wonderful difference to know I could get some help, that is the reason to have insurance after all. By the way, before filing I spoke to a customer service rep who assured me that filing a claim would not cause the company to drop me or raise my rates beyond the usual small annual increase due to my dog's age. I recently received my renewal info -- so far so good!
