This is the first health plan for a pet that moves around with their owner
This is the first health plan for a pet that I have bought and I'm happy with their service. Even though it is on a refund basis, I like the fact that you don't have to stay with the same vet for it to work. Since buying the insurance I have moved states and that was no problem for them. I have also flown out of state and I trust that they will be there to help/refund if it is needed. When I get another pet, I am planning on buying them the Pets Best Pet Health Insurance the moment I bring them home.

I didn't meet my deductible and was explained thoroughly on why I wasn't refunded with an attachment of my account. I appreciated the kind explanation.

Exceptional!
I submitted my claim on 1/15, immediately informed it had been received, and on 1/17 I received the EOB. Pets Best Service, in the 3 years I've had it, has been exceptional. I HIGHLY recommend Pets Best!

Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date.
