Vet filed the claim for me

My wire-haired pointing griffon, Yogi, appeared to have torn some sutures while being dog sat during our Thanksgiving vacation. Our dog sitter took her to our preferred emergency vet here in Denver who treated her and prescribed some meds. That vet filed the claim for me, so it was literally a hands-off affair. Yogi has since recovered in full.

Submitting a claim was easy

Submitting a claim was easy. I sent them a screen shot of bill loaded and attached to claim online. I set up account to deposit into my checking and whole process was easy an prompt. I glad I got this in surface for my puppy. Very pleased. Thank you, Ms. Navarro

Just get it

Unfortunately we have had to make 2 claims for our dogs with Pets Best in the last 5 years. We are very thankful that we had Pets Best insurance to help us with the bills. Don't think of whether or not to get it, just customize the plan to your needs and get it. It will give you peace of mind if your pet ever needs a procedure.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
