Pets Best is the BEST!

I've been with Pets Best for 9 years and they have always been Great! They're quick to process claims, give detailed information on the money you receive back and very helpful. I started coverage 9 years ago when my dog was a puppy. As she's gotten older, the rates have increased (not by a crazy amount though) but I have never once thought about looking for another company. They are just that good!

Grateful and impressed

Between the online chats and actually calling to speak with someone at Pets Best, I am so grateful and impressed with all the help I received! I called one night and spoke to a woman (I'm kicking myself that I didn't write down her name!!) but she was AMAZING! She answered all my questions and even provided suggestions on how to get the most out of my policy! Thank you for hiring such wonderful people!!!

Easy, no hassle way to get reimbursed.

My dog had ACL surgery. I had numerous invoices and it was very easy to scan all of them onto the Pets Best site. I received notification within 24 hours and payment within a week. It's an easy, no hassle way to get reimbursed. Keep up the great service.

Quick reimbursement

Our female labradoodle (2 yrs old) was diagnosed by our vet with her first uti. She was sent home with meds to take for 5 days. I submitted the claim on same day and reimbursement was made within about a week.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
