Super quick processing

Super quick processing and although every company can have improvement. Sadly I can not say what needs to be done in order to improve because I can not say that something was not done that was not in return great.

Only a minute to complete each claim

I have submitted numerous and recurring claims for my Maximus for the past 6 years due to allergies, Lyme disease, and cancer. There has never been a question of coverage, and it takes only a minute to complete each claim. I am very appreciative of the great coverage, ease, and expediency of claim processing.

I feel much better

Called to resolve the issue with communication of records between insurance and my vet. Sara O. was able to see my account and aid me in a timely manner, even offering for me to email records to her so she could ensure they be forwarded on for my claim. I felt much better after speaking with her!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
