In two years as a customer I have only ever submitted one claim and it was easy to submit and paid promptly. My only problem, and it is a big one, is that the rates jump SIGNIFICANTLY every year. I understand that prices go up due to aging pets, but last year it increased almost 25% and this year it has gone up another 16%. This kind of increase will make it cost prohibitive in the near future...just when I REALLY need it with the aging animals. In my first year alone I paid more in premiums than the amount of the claim that was paid out last month.
