Super grateful for Pets Best!

Super grateful for Pets Best! My pup has been healthy her whole life and I've contemplated cancelling several times but they always gave me an option to reduce my monthly payments instead of cancel. My pup was a victim to an act of violence and had to have expensive tests done. I'm glad I had pet insurance to help with the vet bills. Pets Best was very helpful with the claims process and it was easy to upload all the documents to the website.

Never had issues

My 14 year old basset hound, Thelma Lou was referred to The University of Georgia Vet Teaching Hospital because our vet didn't have the equipment necessary for an accurate diagnosis. Pet's Best paid the entire bill at UGA minus the coinsurance. There were no surprises, no questions asked and the process was quick. This isn't my first claim this year as Thelma Lou has been recently diagnosed with Cushing's Disease but all claims have been paid according to the terms of my insurance policy. The policy has been in place about a year and a half and I have never had any issues with them not paying.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
