Made me feel at ease

Wanted to make sure hospitalization was covered for my puppy. Easy to get ahold of, answered all my questions. Made me feel at ease during this stressful time my puppy needed hospitalization.

I've carried Pets Best on Libby from the first day she came to live with us, never been disappointed.

They are always there to help with there on call vet to claims. ALWAYS replying quickly. Very happy with service and coverage.

Terrible

Such a disgrace... First claim took over 1 month with 8 phone calls & 4 emails just to be Denied due to their make up reason of pre-existing condition. Which my Cat haven't seen any vet for over 10months. Don't waste money with Pet's Best ... unbelievable shady business

Big Waste of Money

Here is my first impression of Pet's Best insurance. They are more than happy to take your premiums but will look for any loophole to deny paying a claim. I am a new member and have paid 4 months of premiums only to have my first two claims denied. My dog gets gastrointestinal issues caused by bacteria from eating leaves in the yard. So I tried to submit claims related to that but because he had this issue a couple times prior to the insurance policy they are calling it chronic and refusing to pay. They make you go through a tedious appeal process to have it looked at again. They also told me today that if he gets this issue often they consider it repetitive and will only cover the first two incidents but then not again for 18 months. All the while they continue to take my premiums each month. I very much feel that this company is more concerned with their bottom line then the health of your pet. Save your money!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
