Informative and Quick

I was surprised at how easy it was to submit my claim. And even though the reimbursement came quicker than I expected, I received an email from Pets Best apologizing for it taking so long which I thought was pretty great customer service.

Pets Best is the Best. They provide what they promise.

When I purchased insurance for my maltese, Lily of the Valley (Lily) I hoped never to have a reason for a claim. Unfortunately that was not the case. Lily had pressure on her spinal cord and needed an MRI and surgery so she could walk again. Not long after mailing the claim and medical receipts to Pets Best I received an email informing me that they received and would begin processing it. Yesterday I received notice with an explanation of benefit that the claim was approved and the money deposited into my account. This is a truly reliable company. They are the best.

Deductible service and response time for the clam

We were concerned because our 1 year old Aussie was urinating when sleeping, so we had some test run which came back negative but was given antibiotics just in case. She is fine now, we send in out vet clam and with-in a week we had a reply and acceptance of the calm which went to the deductible but overall service and response time for the clam we are very happy with Pets Best insurance, hope we never need I but it's nice to know we have dependable insurance for our dog Shiba. Thank you Pets Best.

I highly recommend

Gustav have serious allergy problems. At least once a month he ends up at the vet for a shot, allergy pills and usually an antibiotic. Never have I had a problem with Pets Best Pet Health Insurance. I highly recommend them and will never change.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
