Quick responsiveness

They are quick to respond and quick to resolve claims. I started using them 7 years ago, then stopped because I honestly thought my dog doesn't really need this. Sure enough, she got super sick 6 months later and after a $5,000 vet bill, I regretted leaving. However, when I got my second dog, I immediately put her on this plan and will not ever take her off. I've heard about other pet insurance companies through friends - I feel this one is THE BEST!

When we got a puppy

When we got a puppy, we thought maybe we should get pet insurance. Lucky for us, we did. Cooper was a rescue pup and came to us with a lot of ailments. It took over a year to get him all worked out. Thanks to Pet's Best, we were able to afford to get him fixed up. He is doing fantastic and thriving. Pet's Best was there 100% of the way. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a pet. When you need them, they are there!

Best pet insurance in the market

Best pet insurance in the market. Excellent customer service, fast reimbursement and reasonable price. The decision maker for me was the wellness program they offer. It truly helps me keep my pet healthy and yearly check up is covered.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
