This insurance plan is awesome! Easy to use and quickly paid on my claim!
We elected Pets Best because it was under Union Plus. I have to say I am very happy with the service I received when my dog had an emergency. I filed the claim on line and the claim was paid within 10 days. Thank you!!

They don't like emails?
When we first started the insurance and filed a claim or 2 there were no problems. Recently I filed a claim and eventually got an email that they are sorry for taking so long (not a problem). Then I recently received an email saying they had to contact our vet for info & history on our dog. I responded to there email that I had put in the comments on the claim that the visit was for our dog and cat, however there was no charge for our dog the charge on the bill is for our cat (a follow up visit). They never responded to the email reply, then I sent them an email using there "contact us" email explaining it all again. Again they never responded. I tried their live chat, that went nowhere so I finally called, canceled the claim and our insurance. No one could give me a reason of not responding to my emails even though they claim they have wonderful customer service. Also I just found out they are not one of the 2019 best rated pet insurance companies.

Communicative about delays
Claim took over a week but I did receive an email re the delay.
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
