CRAPPY SERVICE
This is a HORRIBLE company. I signed up for them early on May 9 because my dog's previous insurance associated with her vet's office was too expensive. Of course, the moment this previous policy expired, something cut her paw while on a walk. She had to be taken to the vet the same day that I signed up for her new insurance policy with Pets Best. I had no idea if I would be needing them or not, but I was hoping that no matter what she would be covered that day. I got my bill at the end of the day and told my vet about the new policy and they gave me the documents to submit for a reimbursement. I filed a claim and TWO MONTHS LATER, I am still getting the runaround. I emailed the company and they rather rudely said that my policy didn't actually take effect until THREE DAYS after May 9. So I said that was not transparent of them and they condescendingly explained to me "how insurance works" and said some policies don't take effect that day. Being a grown ass woman, I told them I understood that and that I was simply telling them that that isn't transparent because if that was in the front facing message or the main message given to me the day I signed up, I would have canceled it. I'm canceling my policy just for the sheer fact that the person emailing is rude. Go anywhere else, I know I am.
