My lab tore an acl

My lab tore an acl. Expensive surgical fix. Last year she had a fractured shoulder and yet another expensive surgical repair. In both cases Pets Best was really great to work with. The coverage is really good. Both my settlements took a lot of the monetary sting out of the ordeal. I have had this insurance on my last 4 Labs. This is a must for a working dog, and valued member of our family.

They took over a month for reimbursement

They took over a month for reimbursement. I made over 5 phone calls following up. They always said they would call back and never Once did they call back. $$$$$Did you not read that I called 5 different times to follow up and they never called me back to ask any questions. Just keep telling me they were backed up and may take 10 business days. Nothing about more paper work needed. They had everything from the first day.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
