Pets Best is the BEST
Over the past year, Hermes had a number of health issues. It was very comforting to know that his vet bills would be covered and in fact he reached the policy limit during toward the end of the year. He passed away on June 3, but I am ever grateful that he received the optimal care and love throughout his life. One of my other cats and one of my dogs also reached his policy limit so I saved a great deal of money during the year by having such great pet insurance. Pets Best is the BEST.

Very easy to submit a claim
Very easy to submit a claim and you get immediate notification it has been received. The time for review has lengthened with the new owners. The notification is as clear as it was before however once you receive it.

Communication and response were very good.
Two claims are pending on appeal however I am pleased with the total claims process on my completed claims. Communication and response and payment were very good.

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.

$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
