Made easy

Made easy by the Vet's office, who forwarded the bill and claim to Pets Best. My only problem is that although you have been applying my bills to my deductible, I do not know how close I am to satisfying my deductible. A summary of the total of my bills and how close I am to fulfilling my deductible would be much appreciated!

Fast reimbursement

They were late at attending my claims but they emailed me to let me know the reason who. The reimbursement was very fast and whatever refund I had was deposited to my account. Very happy to have Pets best insurance for my dog, Tino.

Smooth and timely

I've been a customer for around 5 years now, and have generally found the claims process to be smooth and timely. Both my pets are older, and have been diagnosed with chronic renal failure, so the insurance has been very helpful in ensuring that I can afford to monitor their health, and get them the care and treatment they need.

Great choice

I am so happy I switched from VIP to Pets Best insurance, claim's are so much easier to summit on their web site. Within a week I had my first deposit. They have more policy options to pick from that I have been looking for. Great choice for my 4 dogs needs.

Long time customer

I have been with Pets Best Insurance for 9 years. Filing claims, understanding the policy and decisions on payment(s) is communicated to us by e-mail. We are kept updated from the time we file the claim until a decision is made by Pets Best on payment or if what was spent at Vet goes toward the deductible. This depends on the accident/illness of my pet. My dog has heart disease and kidney issues. Pets Best has been superb with reimbursement of a portion of the invoices spent at the Vet. I have recommended Pets Best Insurance to friends and family members. Thanks to Pets Best Insurance for being the best insurance for pets.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
