Consistently Great Service

Unfortunately, we have a Maltese that has had chronic issues in her young age. Pets Best has been phenomenal in their support and consultations since we joined their client network.

Whoops slower in repay of claims.....

The repay for claims seem to take longer then they did before. YET they let you know if it will take longer to complete everything so that is good to know. Overall I like Pets Best Insurance and have for years! :-)

My cat has better health insurance than…

My cat has better health insurance than I do and I work for the State! I am so thankful for this pet insurance. I had to take my cat to the emergency vet after hours clinic and it was not cheap! I filled out the paperwork and filed my claim and payment was deposited in my checking account in under 2 weeks! Filing the claim was super easy and I am so pleased with the plan I chose. I also liked that there are several plans to choose from with very low monthly premiums. It is totally worth it!

Paid within a week

The first week I had Kobe my new puppy I signed up for insurance. The following day I took him for a check up and first round of shots and heart worm/flea treatment. My bill was around $129 after I sent in my receipt pets best deposited my claim to my bank account in about a week. It was $79. So my vet visit only cost me around 50 bucks.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
